At a company dinner in Innsbruck last week. Some of my colleagues. People were seated according to importance.

Art

At the "Long Night of Museums" in Mannheim, Germany. On a Saturday night all major galleries and museums had opened until about 2am. The streets were crowded, performances were performed. I was exploring the city with friends. In the main art gallery of Mannheim early photographs of Henry Cartier Bresson were shown. Impressive.

The picture above was taken in my old university. No big art.

Snow

This morning I found this snow installation near a major road in Zurich. The sign says: "Stop agitating against foreigners."

When I walked back in the evening the snow was melted.

Zoo

Last weekend a friend was visiting. We went to the Zoo in Zurich.

Bad Week

There are weeks that suck. On Friday it rained through the roof of my apartment. Had to relocate. Twice. On Monday I had a small car accident. A car bumped into me when I had to stop because the driver in front of me hit the break at a traffic light. On Tuesday I got a phone call that a close family member has died. A bad week.

California

I'm in Mountain View, California for a couple of weeks. Here are the pictures.




The beach is a 30min drive from my apartment.

The guy at the keyboard is a colleague who besides being an excellent software engineer is a semi-professional musician and a top long distance runner (his record time for marathon is around 2:15h).
